Me, John, and my friends had an absolute blast building and playing with the LEGO LOTR The Council of Elrond 79006 Toy Interlocking Building Sets! The features in this set are beyond amazing. The unique Elven wall arches, weapon rack, and hidden Eye of Sauron really added to the overall theme of Rivendell. It truly felt like we were right there in Middle Earth!
My friend Sarah was especially excited about the 4 included weapons Golden Elven sword, bow, Sting, an axe and the One Ring. We had so much fun trying out each weapon and battling against each other. And let me tell you, sending Gimli flying with the catapult function was a hilarious experience.
But beware of the evil Eye of Sauron! This added element really brought some suspense and excitement to our playtime. And once we were done playing, we proudly displayed our finished Rivendell setting which measures over 5″ (15cm) high, 9″ (24cm) wide and 6″ (17cm) deep.
